the same thing goes for my MSN Messenger...
...totally rusted...

In that period of not blogging,
many..MANY things happened...
To name a few...

we got champ' for the Multimedia Project- Zon Bangsar
got PKP post for PAK,
V.Sec for BC society,
Won the biology quiz,
Also the calligraphy competition,
Schoolwork increases three-fold,
A plumber passes away in my school
-at the same block I am studying in...

"Wan sui" to China for hosting such a wonderful event.

Having said that, people, or lets say sour grapes
from other countries have been trying to tarnish
the reputation of China by making such a BIG* issue
out of the performances at the Olympics shown on TV.

They say the footages were prerecorded,
that cute little girl wasn't actually singing...
^^It was some other girl's voice, but the girl wasn't cute enough...
the children carrying the flag wasn't from different ethnicities,
they were all Han chinese...

They really make SUCH A BIG issue out of this
so people around the world would think that
China is full of crap, fakes and all those nasty stuff...

I can't stand those sour grapes...
And now they say that the footage of the man running around the stadium to light the olympic torch -- was also prerecorded..

It might be true.. It might not..
but even if it is true...
I still feel proud of China,
not that I'm of Chinese nationality,
but because I am still CHINESE.

Being part of this big family
which can never stay united because of its size,
I still feel the Chinese roots in me...
Just like the personified statement of "being a bamboo tree",
bending in the direction of the wind,
but still holding tight onto your roots...
